A Doctorate in Chemistry from the prestigious University Department of Chemical Technology –Mumbai, Dr. A. V.Subramanian has worked in reputed companies in India and abroad. He has extensive experience in
setting up Organic Synthesis, Research and Development centers, analytical & standardization labs, Pilot and Commercial Plants, development and commercialization of new products in Lab and Pilot plants including
chemical and effluent treatment plants. He has also coauthored a book- ‘The Fundamentals of Inorganic Chemistry for College Students’.

Akshaya Ayyangar
A senior researcher and policy analyst for 8 years, working on urban development and related issues such as solid waste management, water governance, climate resilience and equity. As a consultant, she works on several action research projects including Urban Ocean which focuses on finding holistic solutions for plastic waste dumped in the ocean and an urban farming initiative that takes kitchen gardening to low income communities in Chennai. Akshaya has a master’s degree in Environmental Policy and Management from the University of Bristol, UK.
